Occupational Therapy
What is Occupational Therapy?
OT is both an art and a science wherein therapists working for Occupational Therapy Centers are responsible for inclining the afflicted individual towards normalcy in human upkeep tasks in order to undergo rehabilitation and foster independent action.
Occupational therapy focuses on promoting health and well-being of the patients by enabling them to participate in the everyday chores, such as self-care activities which includes – bathing, dressing, preparing food and such other productive activities related to their occupation, be it education or employment related work. They can also be encouraged to volunteer for care of others and participate in leisure and other social activities.
Occupational therapists at Alimran Medical Center play a crucial role in enabling people experiencing disability to identify and implement methods that support their participation in everyday occupations. This may include modifying an activity or an environment.
